Gateau Concorde Demo
with Gesine Bullock-Prado

We’re delighted to welcome back Gesine Bullock-Prado for another fabulous demonstration! This time, she’ll be showing us how to make Gâteau Concorde from her newest cookbook, My Harvest Kitchen: 100+ Recipes to Savor Every Season, which just released in October. This decadent cake was inspired by the legendary Parisian pastry chef Gaston Lenôtre.

My Harvest Kitchen: 100+ Recipes to Savor Every Season is an innovative collection which celebrates the joys of cooking with the rhythm of the seasons, blending farm-to-table philosophy with approachable recipes. With a wink and a whisk, Gesine invites readers into her delightfully imperfect world of “half-assed homesteading,” where compost may fail, but the biscuits never do. With humor and authenticity, the book navigates the ups and downs of gardening, raising chickens, foraging, and sourcing local ingredients. Gesine’s honest reflections invite readers to embrace imperfection, whether they are seasoned gardeners or casual home cooks.  Bullock-Prado invites readers to embark on a culinary journey that balances the art of mindful growing, sustainable living, and celebrating fresh, local ingredients - alongside practical tips, kitchen tales, and plenty of cheese.
