Our host, Andy Mariani, has been farming this extraordinary orchard for over 60 years — and a visit here is truly a rare and special experience. Small, artisanal orchards like Andy's are a disappearing part of California's agricultural landscape, making this an opportunity not to be missed.
During our visit, Andy or one of his associates will share the rich history of the orchard and walk us through the remarkable variety of stone fruits grown there. We'll then sit down to a tasting of the season's ripest, most beautiful fruits — the kind of flavors you simply can't find in a grocery store. There will also be time to pick your own fruit or browse and purchase from the farm store.
